All children will eat their lunch in the school hall. Children can bring a packed lunch to school or take advantage of our hot school lunches provided by our catering company, Kingswood Catering. Menus are available along with a meal ordering facility at www.kingswoodcatering.co.uk. Kingswood Catering have put together healthy, nutritious meal options which not only cater for a wide range of choices, and dietary needs, but also taste good and can be enjoyed by your child.
We also provide healthy snacks in Reception and participate in the ‘Free Fruit for Schools’ initiative for Reception to Year 2.
Free School Meals (Key Stage 1)
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for free school meals under the Universal Infant Free School Meals initiative. All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will automatically be entitled to free school meals, although a meal will still need to be ordered each week.

Free School Meals (Key Stage 2)
If you are in receipt of any of the following you may be eligible for Free School Meals:
- Income Support
- Income based Job Seekers Allowance
- Income related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- Child Tax Credit, with no element of Working Tax Credit, and a household income below £16,190 (as assessed by HM Revenue and Customs)
- Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit
- Universal Credit
You may still be eligible if you are in receipt of Working Tax Credit which is going to end due to having recently reduced your hours or having become unemployed (also known as a '4 week run-on').
