At Simon de Senlis, we are passionate about learning. Through the teaching of a knowledge rich curriculum, we are developing children’s knowledge of the world, allowing them to discuss and debate using high levels of oracy. We are building a community of responsible, determined, aspirational, healthy and happy learners who make a positive ‘dent in the universe’.

School Mission

We foster an enthusiastic, creative community of learners within a safe environment where all are valued and differing needs are acknowledged and met. We believe that education should take place with equal opportunities for all and that all children will develop independence, along with a sense of responsibility for themselves, respect for others and their environment.

We believe that all children should receive great teaching, achieve high levels of academic attainment and so leave our school with the foundations for success in the future.  Alongside this, we offer our children a wide range of learning opportunities through Sport, The Arts, Drama and Technology which help to develop their creativity, confidence and well-being. Children will apply their knowledge via a range of enrichment and wider opportunities.

Our school is proud to be at the centre of the local community and we are fortunate to benefit from very supportive families. In partnership with families and the community, we ensure that children develop the knowledge, critical thinking skills and character necessary to succeed today and in the future. We strive to prepare all students to become lifelong learners and responsible members of the community. Children's behaviour is outstanding and everyone enjoys learning at Simon de Senlis!
