At Simon de Senlis, we believe strongly that Physical Education and Sport play a vital role in the life of children and adults: promoting health, confidence and wellbeing as well as developing teamwork, determination and perseverance. We believe that primary school should be a place where children are inspired and given the opportunity to participate in a wealth of different sports.
We believe in competition, inclusion and participation. Regular competition across a wide range of sports is built into the curriculum and our extra-curricular programme. We also believe in the importance of ‘sportsmanship’ and are proud of the fact that our children are often complimented on their behaviour and attitude to others both on and off the sports field. We enjoying winning and always strive to win, but believe that participating and doing your best are the most i important elements of any sporting challenge.
Like all schools in England, we receive additional funding to develop sport at our school and you can read details of how we spend this in the 'Sports Premium Report'. To view our Sports Premium Report, please see our policies page.
